The fashion show happens out of the official New York Fashion Week schedule
Ralph Lauren has announced that the brand’s Fall 2024 runway show will take place in New York City on April 29th. This fashion show will occur outside the city’s official fashion calendar; New York Fashion Week just concluded in February. The venue is yet to be revealed.
The Spring-Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection was the last runway staged by Ralph Lauren in September 2023, where the American designer reimagined denim with chiffon, tulle, sequins, and beads.
Black and gold outfits featuring RL logos and military jackets over silky pants were showcased, with Christy Turlington dazzling in a gold lamé gown. Oversized belt buckles adorned tie-inspired looks, while jewel-toned silk dresses and a unique madras print gown highlighted Ralph Lauren’s signature unexpected elegance. This presentation marked the first time the brand showcased a collection on the official fashion calendar since the Covid-19 pandemic.
