Followed by Prada, Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, and others

The Lyst Index, which ranks fashion brands and products every three months, crowned Miu Miu brand as the hottest brand of the moment in its latest edition. Coming in second is its older sister brand, Prada, which held the top spot in the previous ranking. Loewe, Bottega Veneta, and Saint Laurent closely follow.

Lyst, a fashion platform, is widely used by over 200 million people annually as a shopping app. The Lyst Index evaluates the popularity of brands and products by analyzing buyer behavior, including searches, views, sales, social media mentions, and engagements.

Miu Miu reclaimed the top spot on the Lyst Index for reasons such as its Fall-Winter 2024 runway show in Paris, the launch of the upcycled denim collection, and collaborations with New Balance and Church’s. Searches for Miu Miu brand increased by 8% in the last quarter, with searches by male shoppers growing by 88%.

Despite dropping one position from last year, Prada (another brand by Miuccia Prada) remains at the top of the Lyst Index. Factors such as the 2024 Re-Nylon collection campaign featuring Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch, the third edition of The Double Club in Los Angeles, and the launch of recent versions of the Buckle bag have secured Prada’s second-place ranking.

Loewe and Bottega Veneta maintained their positions in third and fourth place, respectively. This quarter, Loewe showcased the Loewe Crafted World exhibition in Shanghai, launched the Decades of Confusion campaign starring Dan Levy and Aubrey Plaza, and announced Jamie Dornan as the brand’s global ambassador.

Bottega Veneta has held onto the fourth position for three editions of the Lyst Index. The brand, led by Daniel Lee, collaborated with Cassina for the Fall-Winter 2024 runway show, announced Jirawat Sutivanichsak and Thanaerng as brand ambassadors, and launched the Summer 2024 fanzine, securing its spot on the list.

For the first time, Saint Laurent has entered the top five of the ranking. Searches for Saint Laurent products grew by 10% in the month following the brand’s Fall-Winter 2024 women’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Other factors influencing the brand’s placement on the Lyst Index included the appointment of Diana Ross as the face of the Spring-Summer 2024 campaign and the pre-Oscar party celebrating the film ‘Oppenheimer’.
