The “La Casa” collection brings back zebra print, peplum, and stripes. Butter yellow is the color of the season.
This Monday (10th), Jacquemus unveiled its new Fall-Winter 2024 collection in Capri, Italy, and celebrated its 15th anniversary. The exclusive audience of 40 included Dua Lipa, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Manu Rios.
The runway location was Casa Malaparte, designed by Italian architect Adalberto Libera for writer and journalist Curzio Malaparte, accessible to guests only by boat. Models had to ascend giant stairs to step onto the runway.
Titled “La Casa,” the collection showcased neutral colors like beige, gray, khaki, black, and white, alongside vibrant hues such as red and blue, and soft shades like butter yellow and light pink.
Jacquemus’s Fall-Winter 2024 features well-structured tailoring, strategic cutouts, oversized silhouettes, exaggerated lapels, and fluidity. The maison reintroduced zebra prints and peplum tops, along with striped patterns.
Long dresses, flared skirts, pencil skirts, layering, scarves, double-heeled shoes, loafers, and large bags also appeared on the runway.
