The iconic designer marks his return with a vibrant collection, blending 70s influences, psychedelic prints, and bold cutouts, in celebration of his 30-year career.
Whether in tribute to his 30 years in the industry or not, Alexandre Herchcovitch has returned after a two-year hiatus, kicking off the 58th edition of São Paulo Fashion Week with a festive atmosphere. The designer, known for his bold creations and underground references, continues to regain control of his brand with visuals that reflect maturity while maintaining his signature provocative edge.
Herchcovitch is one of the most prominent figures in Brazilian fashion, if not the most significant. With a subversive nature and a fresh perspective on sensuality and freedom, the designer, who officially launched his eponymous brand in 1994, has earned a strong reputation in both national and international fashion markets, having graced the runways of prestigious events such as New York Fashion Week.
The new summer/autumn 2025 collection from Herchcovitch; Alexandre features 32 looks that blend his impeccable tailoring with unconventional cutouts, references to the 1970s, and psychedelic prints, created in collaboration with artist and fashion designer Fábia Bercsek.
The collection showcases a mix of prints, vivid colors, metallics, and a revival of hip volume, as seen in the previous show. It also includes pieces made from diverse fabrics such as hemp denim, lurex blended with cotton, and pure silk checked organza.
Alexandre’s return to São Paulo Fashion Week once again underscores his talent for crafting cohesive collections with high-quality pieces suitable for various occasions.
We eagerly anticipate what’s to come from this exciting new chapter of Herchcovitch’s career.
