Showcasing Artisanal Techniques and Sustainable Fashion, Curated by Paulo Martinez.

The SPFW N58 was the stage for a memorable showcase of responsible fashion and Brazilian craftsmanship, presented by Sou de Algodão in collaboration with twelve national designers. The fashion show, curated by Paulo Martinez, celebrated “Handcrafts,” highlighting traditional artisanal techniques such as crochet, knitting, and macramé.

The event featured designers such as Adriana Meira, Ateliê Mão de Mãe, Catarina Mina, and David Lee, each bringing their unique interpretation to the theme. The collection comprised 36 looks that harmoniously blended with the predominant use of cotton, a fabric known for its sustainability and comfort.

The color palette focused on natural tones, ranging from whites, browns, and beiges, which perfectly complemented the organic and earthy essence of the event.

This initiative not only highlighted the beauty and versatility of cotton but also reinforced the importance of conscious consumption and the appreciation of manual skills, echoing a call for more ethical and sustainable fashion. SPFW N58 proved to be an influential platform for national talent and for fashion practices that respect both cultural traditions and the environment.
