São Paulo Fashion Week returns from April 6 to 11, 2025, with its milestone N59 edition, launching a year-long celebration of its 30th anniversary. As the only Latin American fashion week on the official global calendar, SPFW continues to evolve as a space for experimentation, cultural exchange, and artistic innovation.
This season features 17 runway shows set across multiple venues, including JK Iguatemi, Casa Higienópolis, and iconic city landmarks. The event opens with Aluf on April 6—known for its forward-thinking textile research—and closes with the much-anticipated return of Piet, following a six-year hiatus, with a show at the newly restored Estádio do Pacaembu.
New names are stepping onto the stage, including Leandro Castro, whose work fuses technology, craft, and sustainability, and MNMAL by Flávio Gamaum, which offers a refined, essentialist aesthetic rooted in conscious design.

But the heart of SPFW lies in its balance between innovation and legacy. Designers like Herchcovitch; Alexandre, Lino Villaventura, Walério Araújo, Patricia Viera, and João Pimenta reflect the rich technical mastery and storytelling that have shaped Brazilian fashion’s global identity. Brands like Dendezeiro further elevate this narrative, reimagining Brazilian identity through powerful, conceptual lenses.
SPFW N59 is not just a fashion week—it’s a platform for expression, a celebration of creative resilience, and a mirror of Brazil’s evolving cultural landscape. With its next edition already set for October 14–19, 2025, the countdown to 30 years of SPFW is just getting started.
