In its second show at São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW), edition N59, Reptilia reaffirms its creative identity by presenting the Tectônica collection, inspired by the silent dance of tectonic plates and the depths of the planet. Creative director Heloisa Strobel dove into the underground world, geological faults, and the textures of the earth to create pieces that symbolize the constant transformation of nature — and of the brand itself.

The collection translates this geological movement into clothing that adapts and changes. Precise cuts, organic layering, and structured silhouettes reflect the dynamics of a constantly shifting terrain. One of the highlights is the Camadas shirt, which allows the wearer to adjust the sleeve length by simply modifying fabric bands, creating variations between short, medium, or long styles.

Reptilia’s DNA, known for its tailoring with architectural traits, is further strengthened in this collection. For the first time, the brand dedicates a significant portion of its creations to the male audience, reserving 20% of the line for pieces like blazers and trench coats reinterpreted with a feminine sensibility. This expansion reflects the desire to build a fashion free from gender constraints, designed for everyone, and reinforced by the diversity of bodies and ages seen on the runway.

In its pursuit of innovation, the brand also debuts in the world of prints. The new development comes from an analog photograph taken by Heloisa during a trip to the Red Sea. The image reveals cracks and the presence of water over arid soil and was transformed into a digital print on noble fabrics such as silk and ramie, reinforcing the artisanal and emotional character of the collection.

Environmental responsibility, a hallmark of Reptilia, gains new momentum in this collection. Maintaining its commitment to ethical production and the concept of zero waste, the brand now incorporates laser cutting technology to achieve even more precise and clean finishes. Fabric remnants are reused as handmade embellishments, creating volumetric textures embroidered onto special pieces.

The collection also features a unique collaboration with designer Juliana Bicudo, who signs a capsule of accessories for the show. Loafers, bags, and belts carry the same spirit as the clothing: structures conceived in layers, revealing the strength and subtlety of organic design. With Tectônica, Reptilia not only deepens its creative process but also projects its vision of fashion more consistently: functional, transformative, and intrinsically connected to nature and people.
