Kicked off on Friday (12) by Sabato De Sarno’s debut with Gucci menswear, Milan Men’s Fashion Week has been hosting a series of events and runways, presenting the fall/winter 2024 collections.

MSGM chose Milan’s Porta Venezia subway station, an unconventional venue, for its latest fashion show. Celebrating the city’s subway’s 60th anniversary, designer Massimo Giorgetti incorporated Franco Albini’s 1964 design into the brand’s fall/winter 2024 collection.

In collaboration with the Franco Albini Foundation, the collection features the curved handrail motif on hoodies and coats in a striking red shade. Additionally, in partnership with Google, graphics from the Pixel 8 phone transform subway train images into prints, while artist Tiago Alexandre’s motorcycle helmet graphics adorn jumpers and shirts.

Reflecting on the passage of time, Massimo Giorgetti acknowledges the impermanence of things. The collection is also composed of sequins, feathers, and sparkle, embellishing sweats and coats.

This Saturday (13), Emporio Armani presented its fall/winter 2024 menswear collection at Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The show featured a black lighthouse and both began and ended with Loredana Berte’s 1983 classic “Il Mare D’inverno (Winter Sea).”

Armani’s choices for the fall/winter 2024 collection blend vintage and contemporary styles, with an 80s influence. Freedom and adventure are key themes in this navy-inspired collection.

The lineup included tailored jackets with broad shoulders, trousers with precise pleating, shorts, trench coats, suits, and skirts. All items came in neutral tones and featured a variety of textures such as leather, embroidery, and tricot.

Pronounce’s Fall/Winter 2024 menswear runway show was this Sunday (January 15). Founded in 2016, the brand introduced a collection inspired by Zhuangzi’s butterfly dream. Designers Yushan Li and Jun Zhou incorporated the traces of a butterfly’s flight using three-dimensional velvet ropes and fabric appliqués to create spirals. The color palette combined black, white, beige, and gray with purple, yellow, blue, and red across various fabrics and textures.
