Altuzarra celebrated its 15th anniversary on the Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear runway this NYFW. An equestrian aesthetic inspired this collection, featuring jodhpurs, sweeping macs, frilled collars, peacoats, and cuffs on knits and blouses.

Jason Wu’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection is all about the four elements of nature. Starting with water last season, he has chosen earth—a dark forest—for the next one, this fall.

The season’s first look pairs a casual off-the-shoulder top with a gray jersey skirt featuring exposed seams. Playing with the American sportswear aesthetic, Wu presented a stunning tulle embroidered top, light as a whisper, accompanied by black trousers. Coats and jackets displayed intricate horsehair layers with deliberate imperfections. Fortuny-style pleated dresses echoed Arthur Rackham’s illustrations, featuring bark-like textures and custom prints.

On New York Fashion Week day 3, At Area, the starting point for the Spring/Summer 2024 collection (yes, in the middle of the Fall/Winter season) was eyes—you read that right. Surrealism from the 1920s and Pop Art from the 1960s are among the references for this collection. Eye shapes were everywhere, from cartoon eyes to the simplified form of a circle within another circle.
