With Fábio Souza Herchcovitch at the helm, the brand maintains its genderless essence with elegance and sustainability at São Paulo Fashion Week.
Now under the creative direction of Fábio Souza Herchcovitch, À La Garçonne blends its upcycling roots with refined, well-constructed tailoring, maintaining a modern and elegant approach to genderless fashion. While 20% of the collection continues to embrace upcycling, the focus has shifted toward sophisticated craftsmanship without losing sight of sustainability.
Tailoring sets the tone for the entire show, with details that make all the difference: silver accessories add an edgy touch to the looks, layering creates visual interest, and oversized bags catch the eye.
Additionally, there is a sensual use of transparency paired with bows in some garments. Plaid appears on jackets, skirts, and sets, breaking up the pattern of solid pieces. A playful comic book moment is introduced with Snoopy prints on some outfits. Everything is fluid, featuring great draping, and the high quality of each material is evident.
For the men, a mesh corset worn under a blazer creates a distinctive effect. Although the collection is more focused on ready-to-wear, it hasn’t strayed far from the brand’s original aesthetic. It’s fair to say that the collection is a blend of everything Fábio has created so far.
Amid the micro-trends that emerge daily, À La Garçonne bets on a more sustainable and timeless fashion.
