Under the creative direction of Fábio Souza, À La Garçonne hit the SPFW N59 runway with a fresh take on everyday dressing, where sharp tailoring meets the hustle of modern life. Known for its knack for deconstructing classics, the brand delivered a contemporary spin on corporate style, blending structured cuts with laid-back layering and a hint of sensuality.

Denim stole the spotlight, with pieces cleverly crafted by mixing denim fronts with flat-fabric backs — and vice-versa — all designed with impeccable tailoring for that perfect silhouette. Nostalgic prints like plaid and camo, staples from the brand’s early days, made a comeback with a refreshed attitude. Meanwhile, utilitarian influences took center stage, seen in pastel perfecto jackets, strapless green dresses, and statement outerwear featuring the signature rope motif.

Lingerie — a longtime À La Garçonne favorite — returned with a grown-up, polished edge. Think lace bras and dresses ready to go from boardroom to after-hours without missing a beat. Staying true to its sustainable roots, the collection also embraced upcycling, breathing new life into archival fabrics and past-season pieces.

The color palette was effortlessly chic: a mix of black, white, earthy neutrals, and warm tones that felt office-ready but anything but boring. Sharp slits and fluid pleats brought a sense of movement to skirts and dresses, balancing structure with softness.

One of the show’s major highlights? A collab with Mizuno, with every model sporting ultra-cool sneakers — proving once again that style and comfort can coexist. Minimalist beauty looks, featuring sleek low buns and neutral makeup, kept the focus firmly on the clothes. À La Garçonne continues to master the art of reinventing classics with a daring, contemporary twist, striking a perfect balance between formal and casual, rigid and relaxed, day and night.
