With exciting new projects on the horizon, including a dramatic Fashion Week debut, Alessio offers valuable insights and advice for those aspiring to make their mark in the industry.

How did you first become interested in your industry? Was there a defining moment or experience that led you down this path?

Honestly, it wasn’t one moment, but rather a series of small sparks that kept leading me toward this path. Growing up, I was always fascinated by how movies, TV, and the entertainment world, in general, could tell stories and represent different realities at once. I was captivated by the ability to communicate visually. The deeper I dove, the more I realized that this wasn’t just a passing interest but something I wanted to commit my life to. That’s when I decided to pursue this journey to refine my craft and make this my career.

Your work often combines traditional elements with modern techniques. Can you talk about your creative process and how you balance the old with the new?

I think there’s something magical about taking timeless techniques and giving them a contemporary twist. It’s like paying homage to those who paved the way while also saying, “This is where we’re going next.” My process starts with research—understanding the history of a particular method or style, and then experimenting with how I can reimagine it. Sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes bold, but the goal is always to create something that feels both familiar and fresh. I believe that’s where innovation truly thrives—at the intersection of heritage and modernity.

As someone who’s been in the industry for a few years now, how do you keep your work from becoming stagnant or predictable?

One of the keys to staying inspired is curiosity. I try to approach every project with a sense of exploration, like, “What can I learn from this? How can I push myself further?” It’s easy to fall into patterns or rely on what’s worked in the past, but I’ve found that it’s essential to keep challenging myself. I also surround myself with people who think differently than I do. Collaboration has been a huge part of my growth—it introduces new perspectives and forces me to step outside of my comfort zone. The minute you stop evolving is the minute your work becomes stale.

This month, you’re celebrating five years in the industry. What does this milestone mean to you, and how would you describe your journey so far?

It feels surreal, honestly. To think that five years have passed since I first stepped into this world—I’m incredibly grateful. The journey has been full of highs and lows, but each challenge has shaped who I am today. When I first started, I was just trying to find my voice and my place in the industry. But now, looking back, I realize that every twist and turn has led me to a deeper understanding of my craft and my purpose.

What excites me most about this new chapter is the potential for growth. I’ve learned so much, but there’s always more to discover, and I’m ready for that. This isn’t just the end of a chapter; it feels like the start of something bigger. I’m excited to see how the next five years unfold, especially with the new projects I have lined up.

You’re so connected with your fans. What makes you spend so much time online and engaging with them?

Honestly, everything starts with the fans. They’re the heart and soul of everything. Whether it’s a new project, a collaboration, or even just day-to-day inspiration, there’s always a super fan behind it, supporting and amplifying the work. I think it’s really important to make them feel seen and heard because they’re the reason any of this is possible. Taking the time to connect with them, engage in real conversations, and hear their thoughts—it’s not just a responsibility, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. At the end of the day, none of this would exist without them, so they’ll always come first for me.

What advice would you give to someone who’s just starting out in the industry?

Be patient with your growth and don’t rush the process. When you’re starting out, it’s easy to compare yourself to others and feel like you need to be at the top immediately. But the truth is, it takes time to refine your voice, learn the ins and outs of the industry, and build something sustainable. Focus on honing your craft, seek out mentors who can guide you, and never stop learning. The journey is long, but it’s worth it if you stay true to yourself and your vision.

Looking ahead, what excites you the most about the future of your work and the industry as a whole?

There’s so much innovation happening right now, from technology to sustainability, and I feel like we’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible. What excites me most is the idea of contributing to that change—of being part of a movement that’s not just about making things look good, but also about making a positive impact. Whether it’s through collaborations, new mediums, or unexpected projects, I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of what I can do and how I can contribute to the industry.
