A reinterpretation of the brand’s signature scent hit stores worldwide in September. The Chloe perfume new fragrance.
Chloé is preparing for its biggest new fragrance launch since the introduction of its signature scent in 2008. Chloé L’Eau de Parfum Intense is a bold reinterpretation of the brand’s best-selling fragrance, making it a significant release for one of Coty Prestige’s most important brands.
In creating L’Eau de Parfum Intense, all elements of the original Chloé Signature were revisited. “From a formulation perspective, it’s a story of reinvention because Michel [Almairac, the Robertet perfumer who created Chloé Signature] collaborated with his son Romain to recraft the fragrance,” Holtzmann explained.
The scent of the rose is designed to evolve throughout the day, with notes of raspberry, ambroxan, cashmeran, and cedar, all layered over an intense woody base. The new refillable bottle retains the signature grosgrain ribbon—now in garnet—along with a black-and-ecru label.
“We wanted to reinvent the Chloé story for a new generation,” Holtzmann said, noting that the campaign for L’Eau de Parfum Intense centers around themes of community and hope. “It’s a pivotal moment of reinvention in how we depict this idea of women.”
Reflecting on Chloé’s origins, Holtzmann recalled that the house’s founder, Gaby Aghion, named the brand after her best friend in 1952. “The story of women is at the core of the brand’s creation,” he said. “It was interesting to revisit this and consider what it means today.”
The Chloe perfume new fragrance will be available in various sizes, with prices ranging from 91 euros for a 30-ml bottle to 186 euros for a 150-ml bottle. L’Eau de Parfum Intense debuted exclusively at Sephora in France on Monday, July 19, with a national launch scheduled for August 26 and an international debut beginning in September.
