Kim Jones Dior director of Dior Men, well renowned fashion designer recently celebrated his fifth anniversary with a breathtaking show at École Militaire.
Jones took inspiration from his previous collections to create a stunning lineup for Dior Men’s 2024 collection. The show started with an air of mystery, with curious looks directed backstage. However, to everyone’s surprise, the models emerged from the ground, standing perfectly aligned on square plates that lined up with the floor.
The collection featured over 50 looks. The color palette predominantly consisted of sober tones such as gray, beige, and black, while neon and pink accents paid homage to the vibrant aesthetic of the 1980s.

Celebrating his fifth anniversary with the esteemed fashion house, Jones seamlessly merged elements from the legacies of three legendary Dior designers: Yves Saint Laurent, Gianfranco Ferré, and Marc Bohan.
At the heart of the collection was Christian Dior’s iconic cannage pattern, inspired by the woven rattan chairs featured in the designer’s inaugural salon show in 1947. The show itself was a spectacle, set outside the École Militaire and featuring stepped blocks and a towering gray box.
Kim Jones Dior design expertise was evident throughout the collection, showcasing his talent as a visual editor. The addition of polished jewels on cardigans draped over tailored pieces exuded elegance. The collection also incorporated fluorescent green and orange accents, injecting a psychedelic vibe into the tweed and piqué twinsets.
