On a runway with plenty of supermodels and a front row with a lot of celebrities, the designer brought up the new collection of his namesake brand
A-list guests gathered on Tuesday (13th) to watch Michael Kors’ Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear fashion show. The runway was set in an old Barneys store in Chelsea, giving fashionistas a moment of nostalgia while viewing Michael Kors’ brand-new clothes.
“Cover/uncover… sensuous, bias-cut shapes in satin and lace paired with deluxe puffers, and sharply tailored jackets and coats. Luxe sportswear, relaxed trousers and shorts, bias-cut denim, rugged bombers, and indulgent hoodies. Dramatic leather and shearling outerwear. The architectural edge of asymmetry in skirts and dresses. Investment flannels and luxurious cashmeres. Rich textural tweeds. […] Opulent simplicity,” Michael Kors explained.

From gowns worthy of red carpets to casual tailoring, Michael Kors embraces all of his clients in his Fall 2024 collection, which celebrates the ’90s. The collection offers a wide range of choices for the Kors woman, spanning from precise tailoring to flowing skirts and dresses. Envision vests paired with lace or gym hoodies layered beneath formal office attire, sometimes with added embellishments.
“Warm shades of cappuccino and chocolate, tones of banker, charcoal, and black; crisp midnight and ivory; dusty makeup tints of shell and blush,” said the designer.
On the runway, we saw some of the biggest names in fashion, such as Alek Wek, Amber Valletta, Caroline Trentini, Chu Wong, Devyn Garcia, Guinevere Van Seenus, and Irina Shayk.
The front row was star-studded: Anna Wintour, Blake Lively, Brie Larson, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Katie Holmes, Nina Dobrev, Rachel Brosnahan, and Rachel Zegler.
