Badgley Mischka’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection harmoniously combines contrasting concepts. It embodies the precision and drama reminiscent of Park Avenue’s glass towers, as well as the luxurious, velvet-lined floral cocoons found in their lobbies. This collection represents a dance of control and extravagance that the designers cherish.

“We love adornment and fantasy, but we are realists and modernists at heart. One hand holds wool crepe, while the other throws crystal beads,” said Mark Badgley and James Mischka.

At New York Fashion Week Day 2, The Proenza Schouler’s latest collection embodied the essence of quiet luxury, drawing inspiration from ’90s fashion icon Helmut Lang. The designers refined outerwear staples and embraced minimalist tailoring, stripping away excess for a sleek aesthetic.

Garments radiated a sense of comfort and elegance, with draped scarves and shawls adding a cozy yet sophisticated touch. Fine-knit maxi dresses in delicate hues offered a sensual silhouette, while sharp tailoring maintained a clean and modern edge, reminiscent of Lang’s iconic style.

Eckhaus Latta’s pieces exude sensuality, and their newest collection was no different. On the Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear runway, the highlights included snug knits, flowing fabrics, pleated corduroy trousers, cropped denim jackets, a black organza ensemble, and a cropped laminated felt jacket with a faux-fur collar, paired with a spiral-seamed pencil skirt.
