This Tuesday (October 1st) marked the last day of Paris Fashion Week. Closing out fashion month, where we saw hundreds of Spring-Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collections from all over the world, PFW featured shows by Chanel, Peter Do, Kiko Kostadinov, Miu Miu, Lacoste, Ujoh, Louis Vuitton, and Coperni on the final day.

Chanel—still without a creative director since Virginie Viard stepped down earlier this year—presented a cohesive collection.

The collection featured 77 looks, focusing on black-and-white stripes, pastel-colored tweed suits, and sheer lace socks. Details like bows, feathers, sequins, and embroidery adorned the pieces. The silhouettes ranged from utilitarian jumpsuits and leather ensembles to fluid chiffon capes and structured trench coats printed with colorful feathers.

Models showcased elements like ruffled skirts, denim with crystal embellishments, waist belts, and delicate florals in shades of yellow, green, pink, and baby blue.

The show, set in the Grand Palais, had models walking through a massive birdcage inspired by one of Gabrielle Chanel’s decorative pieces, symbolizing freedom and an invitation to spread one’s wings.

“The Spring/Summer 2025 Miu Miu show by Miuccia Prada is a point of embarkation for a sequence of multidisciplinary events examining the brand’s cultural dialogues with groundbreaking women artists and filmmakers over the past 13 years,” says the brand’s notes.

Miu Miu’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection, titled “Salt Looks Like Sugar,” explored contrasts through a diverse palette of black, white, blue, red, purple, gray, brown, pink, and turquoise. The collection played with textures and materials like leather, suede, and sportswear fabrics, blending them with delicate florals, embroidery, and sequins.

Silhouettes ranged from micro to midi-length, adding versatility to the looks. Baby-doll tops and cutouts highlighted a youthful, playful vibe, while leather pieces and structured elements maintained a bold appearance.
