Check out Aluf’s and Lilly Sarti’s newest collections
Fashion Week runways have finally arrived in Brazil. The 57th edition of São Paulo Fashion Week started this Tuesday (9th) and will continue until Sunday (14th).Aluf was the first brand to grace the runway this winter 2024 ready-to-wear season in São Paulo.
Later that Tuesday, the brand showcased voluminous pieces, floral applications, fluid shirts and trousers, well-structured dresses, trench coats, tricots, puff sleeves, and off-shoulder blouses, accompanied by an orchestra placed right next to the models.
The collection was dominated by white, black, terracotta, brown, baby blue, beige, golden, and floral prints.“In the fluidity of the times, where we consume images, ‘content,’ and act automatically, few things touch us or truly capture our attention. This presentation seeks to reclaim the forms of expression that take our breath away, lifting us off the ground and making us sigh,” say the notes from Aluf.
Golden was also a big deal for Lilly Sarti, which presented her summer 2024 collection this Wednesday on SPFW. Today also marks the brand’s 18-year-old anniversary.
Hi-lo mixing casual with special pieces ruled this runway, that started with a white shirt and a golden skirt with fringes.
Looking back at the brand’s history, Lilly Sarti brings fluid dresses, leather jackets and vests with fringes, cutouts, transparencies, jacquards and lamé – with the golden always marking a spot and a good shot of mix-and-match materials and textures – to this summer.
Yellow, green, brown, terracotta, silver, golden, beige, white, red, blue and black are Lilly Sarti’s colors of the season. Animal print and plaid are also on the collection.
